Wheeling my kayak down to the water in the dark at 5am, I was fairly sure of where to go, but having never been to this area before it was going to be a bit of an adventure. The kilometer paddle across the inlet was silent in the still, predawn. Arriving at the mangroves, i paddle into the forest and watched the sun rise while gliding through an amazing forest totally different to anything I had seen before.
A few friends and myself went up to Katoomba which is 2hrs west of Sydney last week. We had done this canyon and absail the week before and I wanted to go back to try and photograph it properly. Armed with decent camera gear and a massive spotlight and battery, a series of 12 shots for the background and 10 or so shots each for the guys absailing produced the following....
In addition to my website, this will be a platform to veiw some current images that have taken my fancy, project that i am working on and collections of relevent images for clients to look at. I will alway strive to keep it exciting, fresh and hopefully a little left of the field. I am continuously trying to challenge my view and idea of everyday life. Thats the way i like to look at things and hopefully translate them into unique images.
